Francisco Castillo Trigueros

Francisco Castillo Trigueros, né à Mexico en 1983, a commencé à étudier le piano dès son jeune âge avant de se tourner vers la guitare classique. De 2002 à 2006, il a suivi les cours de la Shepherd School de Musique de l'Université de Rice aux Etats-Unis (composition avec Pierre Jalbert, Shih-Hui Chen, Arthur Gottschalk, Kury Stallman et Anthony Bandt) et obtenu un Bachelor en Musique. En 2006, il a entrepris un Master en composition au Conservatoire d'Amsterdam avec Theo Loevendie, qui lui a été accordé en 2008. En septembre prochain, Francisco Castillo Trigueros partira travailler à l'Université de Chicago. Francisco Castillo Trigueros, born in Mexico in 1983, started studying piano early in his childhood and later turned to classical guitar. From 2002 to 2006 he attended the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, in the USA, where he got his bachelor's in music after studying composition with Pierre Jalbert, Shih-Hui Chen, Arthur Gottschalk, Kurt Stallman and Anthony Brandt. In 2006, Castillo Trigueros got a Wagoner Fellowship to study a master's in composition in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Theo Loevendie, which he finished in 2008.
