In this sense, Metamorfósis became a challenge for me. As I progress in writing the piece I gradually started to find new ways of exploring these idiomatic characteristics of the instrument like open strings, harmonics, strumming and built in this manner the structure of the piece.
Some ideas that we hear at the beginning of the work reappear in a different context in the second part of the piece. In this way, some elements are transformed at the end of the second part and give birth to new elements that conform the third part in which we also hear again textures made out of harmonics and make reference to the first part of the work.
